Desert Eaglez emerged as the winner of Division A Championship for PCL Winter League 2018 defeating Wolverines by 72 runs in the final played on May 8. Eaglez won the toss and elected to bat. Most of the Eaglez top and middle order batsman contributed their part and kept scoreboard busy eventually posting an impressive total of 125/8 in 20 overs. All the Wolverines bowlers got a wickets but were not able to stop the flow of runs at crucial moments of the match. In response to the big total demand Wolverines started aggressively but lost regular wicket to a disciplined Eaglez bowling attack. Eaglez kept things tight from the start with skipper Kulranjan Pandey leading the attack giving just 1 run in his opening 2 over spell. Rest of the Eaglez blowers followed the footprint and did not give anything loose; Arvind Raina went a step ahead of rest and was the stand out bowler of the match with a hat-trick and 5 wicket haul to finish the game.
